Ice hockey camp focus

ELITE ice hockey players from across the country will descend on Dumfries Ice Bowl this weekend for a new Great Britain Prospect camp.

Ice hockey UK have teamed up with the Dumfries and Galloway Council to launch a new GB Prospects camp locally.

The event, which is sponsored by the Cairndale Hotel, will see Britain's most elite ice hockey players arrive at the Ice Bowl.

And in recognition of the camp the Ice Bowl will be be classified as the official IHUK prospects training centre and will mark the start of the development process for young players to accelerate their progress from the club hockey to Great Britain national teams.
